U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District, in coordination with Libby Dam and partner Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), announce the official advertisement of the Hot Dam Timber Sale.

Timber Sale Details: Estimated volume: Approximately 8,165 tons of harvestable material Harvest area: Approximately 239 acres Advertisement opens: Oct. 13, 2026 Site visit/pre-bid walkthrough: Nov.5, 2026, at 2 p.m. Participants should meet at the Libby Dam Visitor Center. Bid opening date: Nov. 12, 2026
